History
Transinex was incorporated in 1972 as a full service IATA Travel Agency. The original name of the company was Trans Singapore Express. The company then changed its name to the telex acronym given by its earlier clients. Transinex has been awarded Singapore SME 500 Company (Emerging) in consecutive years 2007 and 2008.

BRANCH OFFICE
In addition, in September 2007, we have a branch in Singapore Polytechnic, SPICE Travel, a joint collaboration between Transinex & Singapore Polytechnic. This is a travel retail lab, with aims to provide on- the-job training and real working experience for the students in the travel agency environment. SPICE Travel mainly focuses on assisting students in overseas cultural exchange through Work & Travel or Work & Study programs.

WORK EXPERIENCE SINGAPORE P/L (License: J100501I)
Work Experience Singapore (WES) was formed in 2008 as an employment agency to recruit students from all over the world on our Singapore Work & Travel Program. Since the establishment of WES, we have successfully placed students and graduates in internships within host companies across Singapore and assist the students in bypassing all the “red tape” and visa application process.
